In 2020, a year when everyone was learning to bake bread, talk to plants or do living room pilates, we stumbled into each other's lives.

From the get-go, we realized that being around each other was as easy as pie. Not just any pie, mind you, but the kind you sneak bites of straight from the fridge at midnight. We talked about everything under the sun and then some. Our conversations were a mix of deep, soul-searching confessions and the kind of laughter that leaves your sides aching.

As the world slowly started to spin again, we kicked our relationship into adventure mode. We traveled, explored, and basically did all the things you see in those overly inspirational travel ads, but without the fancy filters. Whether it was getting lost in a new city or trying new cocktails, that sometimes led to questionable decisions (one in particular named Oso), every moment was a blast.

Deciding to move in together and blend our families was a big step. It was like deciding to add another scoop of ice cream to an already teetering sundae—risky, but totally worth it. Our life together has been about growing and pushing each other, and our kids, to be the best humans we can be.

As we approach our wedding day, we look back at how far we've come and can't help but smile. Our journey hasn't been perfect, but it's been ours, filled with love, laughter, and a fair amount of Netflix binges. We can't wait to see what life has in store—it's going to be an adventure.
